We created the Apple TV app for iOS and tvOs. Its goal is to aggregate TV shows and movies from all the apps and channels you watch into one convenient place.
I wrote all copy for the app, including headers, button text, labels, help text and more.
For the above image, I came up with the line “Everything you watch. All in one place.” It alludes to the fact that the Apple TV app aggregates everything you watch in one app.
This line is now used both in-app and for advertising.
The above image shows what users see when they open the TV app for the first time. We ended up going with the “Everything you watch. All in one place” line as a the header—this is just meant to show an alternative treatment.
“Watch Now” is the default tab the user lands on when opening the app. It shows everything the user has available to watch.
The above screen is what the user sees the first time they launch the TV app. The copy has changed many times for various iOS versions since its launch. This just shows its original state.
The above screen is the second step in a flow that allows the user to set up their TV app. This screen lets the user add apps to the TV app.
